Halloween! Bake Sale and Party

We're having our first bake sale this Wednesday, Oct.28, 9:20am-3pm in the Clearihue lobby. Any goodies you can bring will be much appreciated, and if you can spare an hour or so to watch the table, please sign up here: http://doodle.com/ny54pf8pegn8nmuv. Money raised goes toward the Underlings scholarship fund. (If you're able to bring an ingredient list with your baking that would be helpful -- for people with allergies, etc.)

Also at the bake sale you can get tickets for the Halloween Party! It will be this Friday, Oct.30, starting around /7pm at my place in James Bay (also known as the LinguaLounge). Address/directions/parking instructions will be on the tickets. Snacks will be provided, but please bring your own drinks. You must come in costume!! There will be prizes for costumes, IPA Twister, and Pin-the-segment-on-the-IPA-chart. Tuesday Afternoon Language Games

Every Tuesday this term we'll be getting together in the SUB to play language-themed board games, such as Scrabble, Balderdash and Boggle. There will be snacks and tea (please bring a mug), and everyone is welcome.

This Tuesday (Sept.29) will be in SUB B110b, but every week after that we will meet in SUB B025. We'll get started at 2:30pm. Hope to see you there!

Set the date for our first meeting

It's back-to-school time and we need to have our first meeting of the year. Course Union forms must be in by Monday Sept 21 at the end of the day, so we'll have to meet before then to get everything sorted. The grad photo will be Thursday, April 16th, at 5pm.

Meeting this Friday

We will be having a meeting this Friday (Feb.27) at 2:30pm in Clearihue A203 to discuss plans for the rest of the semester (i.e. the party).
